Yes. Manual lymphatic drainage may support both pre-operative and post-operative care by encouraging lymphatic flow, reducing fluid congestion, and supporting tissue mobility and comfort.
Pre-operatively, some clients seek treatment to help prepare tissues and support lymphatic circulation.
Post-operatively, it may help support swelling (edema), comfort, and recovery during the healing process. Clients may seek this work following cosmetic surgery, mastectomy, reconstructive procedures, orthopedic surgery, or injury recovery.
Treatments are always adapted to the stage of healing and provided within appropriate post-surgical guidelines. In some cases, I may request written clearance from your healthcare provider before treatment depending on the procedure, timing, or individual health considerations.
-
Manual lymphatic drainage is commonly sought before and after cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, including:

Facelift or other facial cosmetic procedures
Liposuction

At this time, I am not working with those who have been diagnosed with lymphedema.
Individuals with lymphedema often require specialized management and care from a certified lymphedema therapist (CLT).
I do offer manual lymphatic drainage for post-surgical swelling, lymphatic support, tissue mobility, and general wellness within my scope of practice.

In most cases, a medical release is not required for prenatal or postpartum bodywork. However, if you have a high-risk pregnancy, certain medical conditions, pregnancy-related complications, or other elevated-risk factors, I may request written clearance from your healthcare provider before treatment.
If you are unsure whether a medical release may be needed, please contact me before scheduling. Your health history and current condition will be reviewed to help ensure that treatment is safe and appropriate for your individual needs.

Pregnancy bodywork is performed in positions that are both comfortable and supportive for your changing body. I use an adjustable table, as well as a variety of cushions and bolsters, to help you relax comfortably in either a semi-reclined or side-lying position.
Semi-reclined positioning: work is provided in a gently elevated position that provides comfortable support and allows you to rest without lying flat on your back.
Side-lying positioning: This positioning during pregnancy promotes comfort and supports the body's changing structure.
Positioning is always based on your stage of pregnancy, comfort level, and any medical considerations.

Craniosacral Work
-
Craniosacral work is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with the body's tissues, fluids, and nervous system. Using light touch, it helps identify and address patterns of tension that may contribute to discomfort, stress, or restricted movement.
While rooted in osteopathic principles, craniosacral work also recognizes the connection between our physical, emotional, and lived experiences. Many clients seek this work to support relaxation, recovery from injury, pain management, nervous system regulation, and greater body awareness.
Although gentle in nature, craniosacral work can be a powerful addition to a person's healing process and is intended to support the body's inner capacity for healing.
-
People seek craniosacral work for a variety of reasons, including:
Stress, overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation
Headaches and migraines
Jaw tension and TMJ dysfunction
Neck, shoulder, and back pain
Concussion recovery support
Whiplash and accident-related injuries
Chronic pain patterns
Sleep difficulties
Pregnancy and postpartum support
Emotional stress held within the body
A desire for greater body awareness, relaxation, and overall well-being
Craniosacral work can also be a helpful complement to physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, counseling, and other healthcare approaches. For many people, it becomes an important piece of the puzzle in their healing process.
